Note from Stage Manager:
Hey Cast Members!
It's Clare your stage manager for the show. Welcome! I wanted to send out a reminder for Saturday's Meet and Greet. Please be at the studio on Sat, October 14th @ 5:00-5:45. You will find out what role you will be playing. There is a $65 participation fee for the show to cover the many costs that go along with this great production. If this is a hardship for you please talk to Kim to discuss other options. You can pay the fee at the Meet and Greet.
Following the Meet and Greet, the company and apprentices will start the first rehearsal from 6:00-8:00.
Sunday, Oct 15th rehearsal is as follows:
3:00-5:00 Company and Apprentices with Imara age 12
5:30-7:00 Imara with classmates
(Imara and classmates will be announced @ Meet and Greet)
I will be your main contact for questions about rehearsals and any conflicts that come up. I have set up a Google calendar for the rehearsal schedule and will be sending everyone a link to it soon. Just trying to get everyone's email address sorted out. In the meantime, please look at your calendars and send me any conflicts you have on weekends between now and Feb 24th. It is important for Kim to know who may be missing for rehearsals to plan times accordingly.
I am so excited to work with this talented bunch as we embark on our new adventure! See you Saturday! Thanx! Clare

Once Upon a Dream Audition and Performance Information:
In general, all dancers who audition will be cast, you are auditioning for roles. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU MUST COMMIT TO ALL 4 PERFORMANCES-IF YOU CAN’T DO THAT, PLEASE DO NOT AUDITION. THANK YOU!
The time commitment for rehearsals involve mostly weekends. The scheduled times are:
Saturdays from 4-9pm and Sundays from 9am to 12pm and/or 3-8pm.
There may be occasions where special rehearsals outside of these time frames are called but these usually involve solos, duets or trios. Involvement depends on casting so it’s difficult to say what weekends your child will be involved. It certainly won’t be every weekend but you can count on weekends in February prior to the show opening to be very critical and are mandatory for all cast members. This will include both days and generally the full time period. During the full run rehearsals we will have people provide a meal during the meal break that you can purchase for your child for $5. This ensures that every child has the chance to refuel and rest. It helps raise a little money toward our production costs as well.
