During the last five years, we hope you’ve had the opportunity to enjoy one of the many productions we’ve created: Alice, Wiz, Readin’ wRitin’ & Rhythm-atic, Annie, Cinderella, or Beauty & the Beast. Maybe you or your children have taken classes offered through our training program. Perhaps you learned about us through our outreach programs in the schools.

At the heart of Out on a Limb Dance Company & School is the ideal that dance should be within everyone’s reach. Each day, our staff and company members strive to make this happen — in classes and performances, by bringing dance to the community, and in seeking support to continue and expand our influence and reach.

In an effort to broaden our reach, we are implementing three new marketing initiatives to attract new students and make our training program self supporting. We are now marketing to local child care facilities, reaching out to other dance studios to create expanded opportunities for our students and theirs, and seeking to develop an alliance with a performing arts center. The more our training program can be self supporting, the more we can concentrate our efforts on community outreach and bringing dance to children who do not have the financial resources to experience our classes or shows without some help.
